More About This Website

This blog follows our travels to and throughout Mexico. We finished our final school year in June, 2007 and retired.   July through October we lived in our Bigfoot Camper or on our Capri 26 sailboat full mOOn on Camanche Lake. We departed Northern California on November 7th, 2007 after the much anticipated wedding of our son, Micah and his fabulous lady, Kim.  Ken, Kris, and Duffie, the Wonder Westie, have travelled extensively in our Bigfoot Camper which is equipped with satellite internet which allows us to maintain this blog on a regular (or semi-regular) basis.  Bookmark this site and share in our adventure.

Holiday Cheer

by Kris

Christmas Eve 2006....a magical event with our family of 6 adult kids and their 5 spouses, 8 grandkids, great grandma and great grandpa, and 6 happy dogs. It's not just that there are a lot of us, it's that we're a fun and affectionate group. Ken and I blended our families in '89 starting with "Brady Bunch" weekends and summer camping trips. The kids and now their kids, the cousins - 6 boys and 2 girls ages 9 years to 5 months - are great friends. Gatherings this time of year are indoors instead of in the pool and yard - with such a crowd I'd guess we could call inside parties controlled chaos or mellow mayhem but they sure as heck are fun! They're also number 1 on our very long list of blessings.

Our holiday wish for our blog readers is much happiness and joy in the New Year and time and health to do all the things that make life worth living.
