More About This Website

This blog follows our travels to and throughout Mexico. We finished our final school year in June, 2007 and retired.   July through October we lived in our Bigfoot Camper or on our Capri 26 sailboat full mOOn on Camanche Lake. We departed Northern California on November 7th, 2007 after the much anticipated wedding of our son, Micah and his fabulous lady, Kim.  Ken, Kris, and Duffie, the Wonder Westie, have travelled extensively in our Bigfoot Camper which is equipped with satellite internet which allows us to maintain this blog on a regular (or semi-regular) basis.  Bookmark this site and share in our adventure.

Día de acción de gracias

We hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving! Our low key celebration of the day was spent with Chuck and Gigi and Marilyn at Roca Azul, our home-base at Lake Chapala. The weather was beautiful and warm. Again.

We pot-lucked with Lake Camanche bass (thanks grandpa, Sam!) sweet potatoes, beets (thanks, grandma Clara!) cole slaw, and a delicious citrus-y cake with chocolate swirls and a delicate layer of flan...which, I'm sorry to say, didn't last long enough for a photograph. Yum. We toasted family and friends in far-off places and shared stories of past holidays. Marilyn and Gigi have some 30 Thanksgivings together in almost as many locations. ¡Que Rico!
