More About This Website

This blog follows our travels to and throughout Mexico. We finished our final school year in June, 2007 and retired.   July through October we lived in our Bigfoot Camper or on our Capri 26 sailboat full mOOn on Camanche Lake. We departed Northern California on November 7th, 2007 after the much anticipated wedding of our son, Micah and his fabulous lady, Kim.  Ken, Kris, and Duffie, the Wonder Westie, have travelled extensively in our Bigfoot Camper which is equipped with satellite internet which allows us to maintain this blog on a regular (or semi-regular) basis.  Bookmark this site and share in our adventure.

Good morning

by Kris

This morning I dreamt I was late for work. I opened my eyes and smiled. Here is our current home. This is good.

anchorage.jpg

We're anchored on the lake enjoying the peace and quiet. We have kayaks for Duffie's shore duty and exploration. Ken's caught catfish for an occasional fish taco. We have a stack of books and the radio for Giants games. A swim in the refreshing lake keeps us cool (and clean) and the constant Delta breeze under the shaded bimini keeps us comfortable in the afternoon heat.

We have just enough organization and puttering to satisfy our project needs. Our friends and family visit so we get our people fix. We have the option to anchor and rough it or stay in our marina slip with electricity and access to the camper for the satellite and internet. Tough decision, huh?

Hey Guys!

Casa isn't the same without you. We had our first short Thursday and there were several times I found myself looking around for Ken. Hope everything is well. I can't imagine what it must be like where every week is 6 Saturdays and a Sunday.
